Mavs Face Colorado State Pueblo Tonight

The Mavericks will get a chance to wipe out the memory of Saturday's last-second loss when they entertain Colorado State-Pueblo tonight at Lee & Helene Sapp Fieldhouse at 7. The contest is the first of two home games in three days for the Mavericks, who are 5-4.
Last Saturday Northwest Missouri State handed UNO its first home loss of the season with a final-second layup, 67-65. The Mavericks are now 4-1 in the Fieldhouse.
Sophomore guard Karen Thies, who scored 19 points against the Bearcats and 21 in a win last Tuesday over College of St. Mary, was named the Nebraska NCAA II player of the week for her performances. Thies is the Mavs' second-leading scorer at 13.8 points per game behind JJ Smith at 14.0.
The Mavericks will play their fourth game of a five-game homestand on Wednesday night at Sapp Fieldhouse when they host Dordt College. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
Monday night's contest will not be broadcast, however Wednesday's game will air on KOZN, 1620 AM.
