UNO Moves Up to No. 10

Coach Kevin McKenna's University of Nebraska at Omaha basketball team has moved into a tie for No. 10 in the lates NCAA Division II men's basketball poll by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
UNO, 11-1, had been ranked No. 14 before posting a pair of wins in the High Desert Classic in Las Vegas, Nev. UNO defeaed Tarleton State and No. 9 Rollins in the Classic, running its win streak to eight games.
The Mavericks are idle until playing Wayne (Mich.) State and Wayne (Neb.) State in the Burger King Holiday Classic in Brookings, S.D., Dec. 28-29.
