Mavs Gear Up For Alaska Fairbanks

The UNO hockey team will play its final CCHA home series of the season this weekend against Alaska Fairbanks. The Mavericks (6-21-5, 4-18-4 CCHA) trail the all-time series with the Nanooks 3-12-5. UAF posted a sweep over UNO in December at Fairbanks by scores of 5-2 and 4-1. Senior forward Andrew Wong leads the Mavs in career scoring against UAF with 3-4-7 in 13 games. Nebraska-Omaha will look to snap their current 10-game winless streak overall, in addition to their 13-game winless streak against the Nanooks.
