Mavericks Win Before Rain Shortens Play

ORLANDO, FLA. -- Maverick freshman Taren Tuley threw a five-inning, rain-shortened no-hitter in a 5-1 win over Southampton Tuesday. The second game of the day, against Caldwell, was canceled by rain. UNO will resume play in the Rebel Spring Games Thursday, meeting UMass-Lowell and Pace.
Freshman Kellyn Kramolisch drove in a pair of runs with a double and a single and Lauren McArthur had a home run and two singles to support Tuley, who struck out eight.
UNO is now 15-3 on the season.
