Mavs Steal One From Assumption

Bradenton, Fla.--The UNO baseball team won the third game of its southern trip with a 4-3 win over Assumption College on Monday.
Nebraska-Omaha rallied for three runs in the last three innings to improve to 4-7 on the season.
Jake Wurth stole third base with two outs in the botom of the ninth and advanced home on an errant throw by the catcher for the winning run.
Jim Sledge belted a solo homer in the eighth inning to tie the score at 3-3. He finished the day going 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs batted in.
The Mavericks will play their final game of its southern swing on Tuesday morning against Assumption.
