Mavs to Introduce New Coach Monday at Press Confer

Patty Patton Shearer will be introduced as UNO's new head women's basketball coach Monday morning at 10 in a press conference in the Lee & Helene Sapp Fielhouse atrium. The public is welcome to attend.
Patton Shearer compiled a 60-49 record in four seasons at Fort Lewis College and led the Skyhawks to the NCAA II tournament last season with a 23-8 record.
The Tucson, Ariz., native emerged from a field of 79 candidates to replace Lisa Carlsen, who resigned in February after four seasons as the Mavericks' head coach.
