UNO Matched Up with UND for NCC Tournament

The Mavericks received the No. 1 seed for the North Central Conference tournament this Friday and Saturday in Sauk Rapids, Minn., hosted by St. Cloud State, and will take on eighth-seeded North Dakota Friday at 10 a.m. in the first round. UNO earned the top seed by going 12-2 in the conference and 45-7 overall. The Fighting Sioux are 1-13 in the NCC and 14-31 overall.
The Mavs will play one more game Friday. With a first-round win, they will go against the winner of the Augustana-Minnesota State game at 4 p.m. With a loss, the Mavs will play in the first round of the consolation bracket at 2 p.m.
