Jorgensen Named to NCC Academic Team

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Sophomore Shilo Jorgensen was named to the North Central Conference all-academic team Tuesday with a 3.955 GPA in elementary education. Katie Novotny received honorable mention. Jorgensen's GPA is the second highest on the all-NCC team and she is one of just two sophomores. Novotny, also a sophomore, has a 3.525 GPA and is undecided on her major.
Jorgensen, Novotny and the rest of the Mavs will head to Sauk Rapids, Minn., for the NCC tournament this weekend. UNO is the top seed in the eight-team tournament and will take on No. 8 North Dakota at 10 a.m. Friday.
