Maverick Classic up Next for UNO

The fourth-ranked UNO softball team will host the Maverick Classic this Friday and Saturday at Seymour-Smith Complex. Games begin at 9 a.m. both mornings for the nine team event. The Mavs will play three games each day. Wednesday night the Mavs won their tenth straight match and improved to 30-4 with a doubleheader sweep over Augustana and remained in first place in the NCC with an 8-0 record. Cheris Kuster picked up 15 strikeouts in the two games and moved into a tie with Krista Unger for fourth in the single-season record with 148.
