NCAA Regional At Claussen-Westgate up Next

The Mavericks will make their 15th straight trip to the NCAA tournament when they host the North Central Region tournament Thursday through Sunday at Claussen-Westgate Field. First-round action will begin at 10 a.m. UNO (47-9) will take a first-round bye and then face the winner of the North Dakota State-Emporia State game at 3 p.m. Thursday. St. Cloud State, also with a bye in the opening round, will face the winner of the Truman State-Concordia-St. Paul game at 5:30. The tournament semifinal and consolation action will take place Friday and the consolation final and tournament final will be Saturday. A second final will be on Sunday if needed.

Admission is for the full day. Hand stamp required for reentry

From 72nd St.
* I-80 Exit 449 72nd Street North
* Go to first light (Grover St.) and turn left
* At the second stop sign, bear left onto Westgate.
* Within a half-mile, Westgate turns to Nina, then 82nd St., then D St.
* After passing under I-80 on D St., the fields will be on the right.
From 84th St.
* I-80 Exit 448 84th Street North
* Go to Grover St. and turn right
* At the first stop sign, turn right onto 82nd St/D St.
* After passing under I-80 on D St., the fields will be on the right.
The second entrance will be for softball fields
