Nebraska-Omaha sophomore-to-be Scott Parse had his named called on the second day of the National Hockey League's (NHL) Entry Draft held at the RBC Center, home of the Carolina Hurricanes.
Parse, a 6-0, 180-pound forward, was selected in the sixth round, 174th overall by the Los Angeles Kings.
Parse led Nebraska-Omaha in scoring last season with 16 goals and 19 assists for 35 points.
