UNO Hockey Returns to aEUoeBullpenaEU for Two Game

The UNO hockey team will be heading back to the "Bullpen" for a non-conference series in January UNO head coach Mike Kemp announced Monday.
Nebraska-Omaha will host Wayne State (Mich.) on January 28-29 at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. Game times are scheduled for 7:05 p.m. both nights. UNO started Division I hockey in 1997 and played its first six seasons at the "Bullpen." The Mavs had 131 consecutive sellouts at the Civic Auditorium before moving to the Qwest Center last season.
"This will be a great experience for both our players and fans," Kemp said. "Our team will get a chance to see where the roots of Maverick hockey began and it will give the fans a chance to relive the past in the friendly confines of the "~Bullpen.'"
The tickets for the Wayne State series included in the season ticket booklets are not valid. The UNO ticket office will be placing season ticket holders in seats that are comparable to their seats at the Qwest Center and will mail the tickets for that series separately.
The UNO ticket office will not be able to take any requests regarding the placement of tickets.
