Mutual of Omaha New Stampede Sponsor

Mutual of Omaha has signed on as the new title sponsor of the annual UNO hockey preseason tournament through 2005.
This year's Mutual of Omaha Stampede will be held at Qwest Center Omaha on October 9-10 and will feature the Mavericks, Connecticut, Merrimack and RPI.
"We are proud to support the Maverick hockey team through our sponsorship of the Mutual of Omaha Stampede, and we wish the Mavericks good luck in the season ahead," said Mutual of Omaha Senior Vice President John Hildenbiddle.
Mutual of Omaha is a full-service, multi-line organization providing insurance and financial products for individuals, businesses and groups throughout the United States.
"UNO hockey is proud to have Mutual of Omaha as the tournament title sponsor," said Maverick head coach Mike Kemp. "This tournament is recognized as a 'big time' tournament in college hockey and Mutual of Omaha's title sponsorship will only build upon that prominent status in the long term."
The Mavs will play Connecticut at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 9 after the conclusion of the Merrimack and RPI game at 4 p.m. On Sunday, the consolation game will be played at 4:00 p.m. with the championship game following at 7 p.m.
