The UNO hockey team starts the second half of the season with a home series against Northern Michigan this weekend at the Qwest Center.
Nebraska-Omaha (8-9-1, 6-7-1 CCHA) holds a 7-2-1 record at home this season. Northern Michigan (9-5-4, 7-3-2 CCHA) swept the Mavericks in Marquette back on December 3-4. The two teams split a two-game series in Omaha last year.
NMU leads the all-time series between the two teams, 7-6-2.
