Mavs Move Up to No. 5

The Mavericks moved up five spots to No. 5 in the latest NABC men's basketball poll, their highest ranking since 1982. UNO, at 14-1, will open North Central Conference play on Thursday against Augustana before hosting North Dakota Saturday at Sapp Fieldhouse. Both games start at 8 p.m.
The Mavs have won 11 straight games, their longest winning streak since 1984 and the third-longest in school history.
Augustana will bring a 7-8 mark to Sapp Fieldhouse while North Dakota is 14-3, riding a four-game winning streak.
