Volleyball Travels To No. 1 UNK, Hosts USD

The University of Nebraska at Omaha volleyball team (16-5, 7-1 NCC) will travel to Kearney, Neb. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, for a 7 p.m. match against top-ranked Nebraska-Kearney (24-1). The Mavericks, who have won four straight, will then resume North Central Conference action on Saturday, Oct. 29, when they entertain South Dakota beginning at 6 p.m. at the Sapp Fieldhouse. The match will be broadcast live on NET2 (Cox Channel 16) and webcast live at unotv.unomaha.edu.

Nebraska-Omaha upset second-ranked Minnesota Duluth 32-30, 30-27, 30-28 at home on Friday night and then traveled to Augustana on Saturday, defeating the Vikings 30-25, 30-24, 39-37 to sweep the season series with AC. The Mavericks, who have won 12 out of their last 13 matches, received votes in the latest AVCA top 25 poll. UNO is ranked No. 3 in the most recent NCAA II North Central Region rankings.
