Mav Hockey Adds Two More to Recruiting Class

Head coach Mike Kemp announced today that Jeremie Dupont and Erik Olimb have signed national letters of intent to play hockey at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2006-2007.
Dupont, 6-2, 175, from Richmond Hill, Ontario, has a 9-1-2 record in 12 games with a 2.38 goals against average and a .905 save percentage for the Aurora Tigers of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League. Jeremie's father, Jerome, was an NHL defenseman for six seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks and the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1981-1987.
Olimb, 6-0, 195, out of Warroad, Minnesota, plays for the Indiana Ice of the United States Hockey League. Through 16 games he has two goals and two assists to go along with six penalty minutes.
The two recent additions expand next year's recruiting class to six. Jeric Agosta, Eddie Del Grosso, John Kemp and Lukas Kimek committed early to Nebraska-Omaha.
"I am very pleased with this entire recruiting class," says Kemp. "This is a quality group of young men who have the skills to step in and play at the collegiate level right away."
