Thomas Nets CCHA Weekly Honor for Third Time

Nebraska-Omaha freshman forward Bill Thomas was named the CCHA's Rookie of the Week today after his efforts against Lake Superior State last weekend. Thomas had two goals and an assist in Friday's 5-2 win at LSSU and set up Saturday's game-tying goal with eight seconds remaining to finish the weekend with 2-2-4.
The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native has received the CCHA rookie honor on two other occasions this season.
