Mavs, Minnesota State Meet in Semifinals

No. 5 UNO will host No. 20 Minnesota State, Mankato in the 8 p.m. game in Friday's semifinals of the North Central Conference Wells Fargo Finals. South Dakota will meet St. Cloud State in the 6 p.m. matchup at Lee & Helene Sapp Fieldhouse.
Minnesota State advanced with an 80-62 win Tuesday night over North Dakota, while South Dakota defeated Augustana 81-71. St. Cloud State came from behind to defeat Minnesota Duluth 51-47.
The Friday semifinal winners will square off in the championship game for an automatic berth in the NCAA II tournament Saturday night at 7.
UNO, 23-4, defeated Minnesota State in double overtime last Saturday in Mankato, 90-88, to close the regular season. The win clinched the outright NCC title for UNO.
