
Mavs Close Tourney with Two Wins

ORLANDO, Fla.--On the final day of the Rebel Spring Games, Nebraska-Omaha posted 18 runs in two wins. UNO defeated Bryant 6-0, and UMASS-Lowell 12-1.
In game one versus Bryant, Maverick pitchers Cheris Kuster and Taren Tuley fanned 14, with Kuster (4-5) picking up the victory.
UNO was led offensively by Shilo Jorgensen who collected three RBIs.
Against UMASS-Lowell, UNO used a nine-run seventh to secure the 12-1 victory. Lauren McArthur was 4-5 at the plate with two doubles, a triple and 3 RBIs.
Cayte Billman (3-2) picked up the win with Jenny Pritchard also seeing action in the circle. Billman held Lowell to all singles in the shutout.
UNO (12-7) will host its first doubleheader versus Nebraska-Kearney Wed. March 23rd at Claussen-Westgate, with the first game scheduled for 2 p.m.
