Mavs Split at Missouri Western Tourney

ST. JOSEPH, MO--UNO's Erin Bluml earned a walk in the bottom of the seventh to break Emporia State's Melissa Stevens bid for a perfect game. No 9 Emporia went on the win the contest 2-0. In game one of the tournament, UNO defeated Central Missouri 2-1.
Against Central Missouri, UNO's Jenny Pritchard (7-0) continued her dominance in the circle earning her seventh victory on the season.
Emporia State's Stevens fanned 19 Mavericks while recording a no-hitter as the Hornets defeated UNO for the second time this season. Cheris Kuster recorded the loss for UNO.
UNO (15-8) will continue play at the Missouri Western Regional Crossover facing Missouri-Rolla at 2:30 and Truman State at 4:30. Both are time changes due to poor weather.
