JJ Smith Earns 2nd Team All-Region Honor

Maverick junior forward JJ Smith has been named to the 2005 Daktronics, Inc. All-North Central Region second-team by a voted of the members of the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Smith, from Lincoln, was the team's leading scorer in a 14-14 season. She also was named to the North Central Conference all-academic team and to was second-team all-region on the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America team, which is also selected by members of CoSIDA.
