Maverick Duo Named to All-NCC Team

Two Mavericks, sophomore guard Karen Thies, and junior forward JJ Smith, earned berths on the 15-member All-North Central Conference women's basketball team announced Tuesday.
Thies, a first-year transfer from Durango, Colo., also was named the league's top newcomer.
