Mavs Head North for NCC Action

The University of Nebraska-Omaha softball team will travel to Grand Forks, N.D. to face North Dakota in doubleheader action Friday beginning at noon.
The unranked Mavs finished last week with a 3-2 record dropping two games on day one at the Northwest Missouri State Tournament falling to No. 7 Emporia State 5-2, and 15th-ranked Missouri Western 6-3. On the final day of the tournament, UNO finished on a winning note, sweeping the final day going 3-0, defeating Central Missouri 2-0, Truman State 3-0 and Missouri-Rolla 6-2.
Nebraska-Omaha(28-16-1, 5-2-1) holds a perfect 32-0 record against the Sioux and outscored North Dakota 13-0 in two wins last season.
