
Mavericks Top Seed for NCC Tournament

The Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks, the top seed in the North Central Conference tournament, received a bye and will face the winner of No. 5 North Dakota and No. 4 St. Cloud State in the second round Friday at 2 p.m.
South Dakota will host the two-day tournament in Vermillion, S.D. UNO wrapped up its regular season with a 31-20-1 record and was 8-3-1 in the NCC.
First-round matchups are: No. 4 St. Cloud State (28-23) vs. No. 5 North Dakota (19-27); No. 3 Minnesota State (27-29) vs. No. 6 Minnesota Duluth (18-29); No. 2 Augustana (25-16-1) vs. No. 7 South Dakota (23-36).
