Mavs Host MSU in Key NCC Series

A showdown between the North Central Conference's top two teams will take place Friday and Saturday as second place Nebraska-Omaha hosts NCC leader Minnesota State, Mankato in a four-game series at the Ballpark at Boys Town.
Doubleheaders are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, both beginning at noon. Saturday is Senior Day and three UNO seniors will be honored with a small ceremony in between games.
The regular season champion of the North Central Conference will host the NCC Tournament, beginning next Thursday. MSU (32-12, 13-3 NCC) has a two-game lead over UNO (34-16, 11-5 NCC).
Nebraska-Omaha will need to win three out of four games from MSU to capture the NCC regular season title.
