Wemhoff Named NCC Defensive POW

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Stacie Wemhoff was named the North Central Conference Defensive Player of the Week for her performances in the Mavericks' three conference matches last week.
Wemhoff, a senior libero from Humphrey, Neb., averaged 5.45 digs per game, including a career-high 30 digs in UNO's four-game victory at Augustana on Saturday, Oct. 14. Wemhoff also added six service aces over the three matches.
The 20th-ranked Mavericks (16-6, 4-4 NCC) return home this Saturday for a 6 p.m. NCC contest against North Dakota at the Sapp Fieldhouse.
