Dupont, Parse Net CCHA Weekly Honors

Freshman goaltender Jeremie Dupont was named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association's rookie of the week and senior forward Scott Parse was named offensive player of the week.
In only his third start Saturday night, Dupont got his first career shutout with 24 saves in the 6-0 victory over Western Michigan. This is the fastest any Mav goalie has added a shutout to their collegiate career. Friday after relieving Jerad Kaufman he stopped nine of the ten shots in the 7-5 win.
Parse had two power play goals and added four more assists. His game-winning goal Friday came halfway through the third period and Saturday Parse's goal was the fifth goal of the night for the Mavs.
