Hockey Team to Hold Scrimmage Saturday

Coach Mike Kemp and his staff will get a first look at their 2006-07 team in action Saturday during a 4:30 p.m. intrasquad scrimmage at Tranquility Park. The two-period scrimmage is open to the public and is free.
The scrimmage starts a busy week of activity as the Mavericks prepare for their 10th season of NCAA Division I hockey and their eighth campaign in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.
The Mavericks will hold their annual media/photo day on Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Qwest Center and Tuesday will meet Manitoba in an exhibition game at 7:05 p.m. at Qwest.
