UNO Opens Home Schedule Tuesday Night

The University of Nebraska-Omaha men's team kicks off its home schedule Tuesday night at 7, hosting Missouri Western.
This will be the eighth meeting between the Mavericks and Griffons. UNO has won four of the previous seven meetings. The last meeting was Nov. 30, 2005, in St. Joseph, Mo. Demarius Bolds led the Griffons with 17 points as Missouri Western took a 72-61 victory.
The last meeting at Sapp Fieldhouse was the previous season, with the Mavs taking an 81-73 decision.
The Griffons opened their season this weekend hosting the Hillyard Tip-Off Classic, splitting a pair of games. They handily defeated Missouri-Rolla, 98-49, before dropping a 65-61 decision to Armstrong Atlantic State. J.R. Reed was the leader scorer for Missouri Western in both contests, dropping 26 and 16 points.
