Mavs Take on York, Emporia State This Week

The Mavericks look to extend their three-game win streak when they play two more nonconference contests this week, facing York College Tuesday at Sapp Fieldhouse, then traveling to Kansas Wednesday to face Emporia State.
Despite having only eight players healthy, UNO pulled off two wins this weekend in the Chuck Stephens Memorial Classic at Colorado State-Pueblo. The Mavs defeated Regis, 69-67 on Friday, then took down the hosts, Colorado State-Pueblo, 66-60 on Saturday. Zac Robinson was the tournament MVP, while Michael Jenkins also made the all-tournament team.
Andrew Bridger (concussion) will be out for Tuesday and Wednesday's games. He should be able to return to practice soon. Josh Vanderslice (wrist) is making progress and could return to practice next week. Ryan Pace (knee) and Justin Petersen (foot) could also be practicing soon.
