UNO Goes For Lucky Seven Against Peru State

The Mavericks, fresh off two big wins at the DoubleTree Classic, will try for their seventh win of the year Tuesday night when they host Peru State.
The Mavericks have won all of the past six meetings with Peru State. UNO won the most recent contest by a score of 84-49 at Sapp Fieldhouse. JJ Smith led the Mavs with 20 points, followed by Lacey Geitzenauer with 18.
UNO's offense has put up big points lately, averaging 82.6 points per game on the year, tops in the North Central Conference. UNO put up at least 80 points in five of its seven games thus far. The Mavs have allowed 60.7 points per game for a differential of 21.9 points, also best in the conference.
Karen Thies is averaging 19.3 points per game, second best in the NCC behind St. Cloud's Erika Quigley. Thies leads the conference in 3-point field goals made with 25.
