LAS VEGAS, Nev.--The UNO baseball team dropped a 5-3 decision to No. 9 Chico State on Friday during the first day of the UNLV/CMSU Tournament.
Chad Leon and Evan Porter each had two hits to lead UNO. Nebraska-Omaha stranded eight runners on base and were held to six singles in the contest. Nick Russell (1-1) was tagged with the loss for the Mavs.
UNO (3-2) will face No. 15 Mesa State on Saturday afternoon.
