Thies Earns Nebraska Honor

Karen Thies earned a share of the Nebraska NCAA II player of the week honors with her 32-point, 12-rebound performance in UNO's overtime win at South Dakota Feb. 2. Thies hit 12 of 17 shots from the field and hit three straight free throws at the end of overtime to secure the win.
