Curtis Academic All-District

Maverick senior forward Ryan Curtis has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District men's basketball team. The selections are made by a vote of members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Those selected to the first team will now advance to the national ballot.
Curtis is averaging 12.5 points and a team-leading 7.3 rebounds entering Thursday night's game at St. Cloud State. He was selected to the North Central Conference's all-academic team in both 2004 and 2005.
The all-district team: Ryan Curtis, UNO; Dusty Jura, Nebraska-Kearney, Troy Ruths, Washington (Mo.); Dan Jones, Missouri Southern, Davey Iverson, Colorado School of Mines.
