
Tuley, Billman Pitch Mavs to 2 Wins

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Taren Tuley and Cayte Billman each tossed shutouts Sunday, extending Nebraska-Omaha's win streak to five and shutout streak to four.
The Mavericks downed Indianapolis 7-0 and Massachusetts-Lowell 6-0 to go to 4-0 in the Rebel Spring Games and 10-3 overall. The Mavericks will play West Virginia Wesleyan and New Haven Monday afternoon.
Tuley struck out 10, walked none and yielded just three hits in the win over Indianapolis. Leslie Svoboda led the offensive attack with an RBI single and a two-run homer in the sixth inning. Shilo Jorgensen went 3-for-3 and Lauren McArthur 2-for-4.
In the second game, Billman went six innings before giving way to Cheris Kuster who pitched the final inning. Svoboda, McArthur and Jorgensen all had two hits in the game.
