UNO Drops 2 to Emporia State

EMPORIA, Kan.--Emporia State's Mark McBratney drove in the winning run in game-one and scored the winning run in game-two to help the Hornets come from behind twice to beat Nebraska-Omaha by the score of 6-5 on Sunday afternoon.
UNO's Min Sung was 3-for-3 in the opening game while Evan Porter drove in two runs.
In the second game, the Mavs jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first three innings on a sacrifice fly by Brian Frew and two-run homers by David Bodnar and Sung. ESU then rallied for three runs in the fourth inning and two in the fifth to tie the score before McBratney's game-winning hit.
UNO is now 13-6 on the season and are scheduled to play at Washburn on Wednesday.
