UNO Wins in Extra Innings

WARRENSBURG, Mo.--Lyle Lafountain's RBI single in the top of the 11th inning lifted Nebraska-Omaha to a 4-3 win over No. 10 Emporia State at the CMSU Holiday Inn Express Tournament on Friday.
UNO (15-6) will face No. 6 Central Missouri State at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Lafountain was 3-for-6 and drove in two runs while Chad Leon was 2-for-3 with three runs scored and three stolen bases. Leon's solo homer in the seventh inning tied the game at 3-3.
Blake Denoyer picked up the win for UNO, throwing two innings of scoreless relief.
