Mavs Make It Three In A Row

Kearney, Neb. - The Maverick tennis team earned its third straight shutout of the season on Sunday afternoon against Nebraska-Kearney.
Freshman Kelsey Cochran remained undefeated in singles competition with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over the Lopers' Autumn Trimble at No. 6 singles.
The victory improves UNO to 5-2 on the season, while the Lopers fell to 1-2.It is also UNO's first road victory of the season.
The Mavericks will return to action on Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa with matches against Drake University and Gustavus Adolphus. The Mavs will take on Drake beginning at 10 a.m, followed by a rematch with Gustavus Adolphus set to start at 2 p.m.
