Shires Adds Columbus Scotus' Tooley to 2006 Class

University of Nebraska at Omaha volleyball coach Rose Shires announced today the signing of Jamie Tooley, 5-8, S, Columbus, Neb. (Scotus Catholic HS) to North Central Conference and national letters of intent to attend UNO in the fall of 2006. Tooley, the daughter of Tim and Janet Tooley, joins early signees Kelli Goeser, 5-10, OH, Harlan, Iowa (Harlan Community HS/Nebraska Elite); Kayla Jansen, 5-5, DS, Omaha, Neb. (Marian HS/Nebraska Elite); Sara Kampschnieder, 5-10, OH, Howells, Neb. (Dodge HS/River City Juniors); Ellen Thommes, 6-0, MB, Omaha, Neb. (Marian HS/Nebraska Elite), and Jenna Allison, 5-11 MB, Gresham, Neb. (Cross County HS/South Central Juniors). Also joining the 2006 Mavericks will be 5-4 defensive specialist Annie Rice, who transferred to UNO from Northwest Missouri State at the semester break.
