Jorgensen Tabbed NCC Player of the Week

Senior designated player Shilo Jorgensen has been named the North Central Conference player of the week. The Lafayette, Colo., native batted .438 last week with three home runs and eight RBIs, helping UNO win six straight league games and claim its fourth straight regular season title.
Jorgensen also was named the player of the week in March. She currently is hitting .275 with five home runs and 29 RBIs. She is tied for 10th in career homers with 16 and career walks with 54.
The Mavericks are next in action Wednesday in a non-conference doubleheader at Nebraska-Kearney starting at 2 p.m.
