NCC Tourney Action Rained Out; Down to Single Elim

Due to extensive rain in the greater Mankato, Minnesota, area, and the forecast for more in the future, play in the North Central Conference Baseball Championship has been canceled for Friday. Due to the cancellation of games the tournament has now been moved to single-elimination with #1-seed Minnesota State and #2-seed Nebraska-Omaha the two remaining teams in the tournament.
Officials will meet Saturday at 2 p.m. to decide the game time and location of the championship game. Updates will be available at www.northcentralconference.org or at www.msumavericks.com.
