
Mav Hockey Fans Can Tour Qwest Sunday

Maverick hockey fans can get a preview look at the new seating in the Qwest Center Omaha when the facility hosts a free open house on Sunday, Sept. 10, from 1-4 p.m. The event offers the fans their first glimpse of the expansion project that has increased seating capacity for hockey from 14,700 to 16,680.
Fans will also be able to tour the facility's luxury suites, club lounge and locker rooms as well as the main arena seating area. There will be free parking in Lot B (West of 10th Street) and admission to the arena through the 10th Street arena doors.
UNO staff members will be on hand to sell season tickets. Seats available for sale for Maverick Hockey will have red tags.
UNO opens its 10th season of NCAA Division I hockey on Tuesday, Oct. 10, when the Mavericks host Manitoba in an exhibition game at 7:05 p.m.
