Mavs Look For Second NCC Win Against Coyotes

After a decisive win over Minnesota Duluth to open the home portion of its conference schedule, UNO hosts South Dakota Thursday night at 8.
The Mavericks won a high scoring affair in last year's game at Sapp Fieldhouse, 87-80, led by a 23-point effort from Calvin Kapels.
Saturday the Mavs hit the road to take on North Dakota with tipoff scheduled for 4 p.m. The Fighting Sioux took last year's matchup in Grand Forks, 73-65.
Senior Zac Robinson continues to chase history, as he stands 17 3-point baskets from tying UNO's all-time record, and 82 points from becoming the 28th member of the 1,000-point club.
Next week UNO will try to avenge a loss in the season opener, hosting Augustana Thursday, then heading to St. Cloud State on Saturday.
