Agnew Named NCC Setter of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Senior setter Katie Agnew has been named the North Central Conference Setter of the Week after her performances last week in the Mavericks two matches against Nebraska-Kearney and South Dakota.
Agnew, who leads the Mavericks with 10 double-doubles this season, averaged 13.11 assists, 3.00 digs, and 0.22 service aces per game in the two matches. In Nebraska-Omaha's five-game loss at Nebraska-Kearney, Agnew collected 56 assists, 15 digs, four kills, and two service aces. In UNO's league victory over South Dakota, Agnew registered 62 assists, 12 digs, and four kills on .364 hitting.
The Mavericks, who are 9-6 overall and 2-2 in the NCC, will entertain league-leading and third-ranked Minnesota Duluth on Friday, Oct. 5, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Sapp Fieldhouse.
