The University of Nebraska-Omaha plays its eighth out of 10 straight home games Friday, when the Mavericks host future conference rival Northwest Missouri State at 6 p.m.
The Bearcats are 4-2 on the season, having lost their last two after starting the season with four-straight wins. Junior guard Meghan Brue leads the team with 12.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Senior forward Andrea Dill adds 12.0 ppg and 2.7 rpg. The Bearcats lead the all-time series 12-10, but the Mavericks have won seven out of 12 meetings in Omaha.
The teams' last meeting was a little more than three years ago, when the Bearcats took a 67-65 win on a last second shot on Dec. 11, 2004.
