Mavs Fall in Overtime, 3-2

Schenectady, N.Y. -- Union College's Chris Potts scored at 1:27 in overtime to down Nebraska-Omaha, 3-2, in Friday's non-conference action at Messa Rink.
The Mavs fell to 5-8-3 overall and the Dutchmen bettered their record to 4-7-3 while remaining unbeaten at home.
Union netted two goals on 16 shots in the first period from Matt Cook at 15:27 and Mike Harr at 19:39.
UNO got on the board in the second stanza with junior forward Dan Charleston's two power-play goals. Senior forward Bryan Marshall had the lone assist on the first marker at 14:23 and forwards Brandon Scero and Joey Martin had the helpers at 17:31 to knot the game at 2-2.
After a scoreless third the Mavericks went into their third overtime in as many games.
