Wright's Career Night Leads Mavs to Another Win

HONOLULU, Hawaii -- LaToya Wright put on a show Saturday night, leading the University of Nebraska-Omaha to an 87-46 victory over Hawaii Pacific at the Kilauea Recreation Center.
Wright set three career marks, scoring 26 points, grabbing 17 rebounds, adding four steals. Cayla Hargrove also had another strong game off the bench, scoring 18 points and tying a career high with four 3-pointers. Alyssa Green added 14 points and eight boards.
As a team the Mavs collected 55 rebounds, to only 24 for the Sea Warriors (0-9).
UNO held a 36-24 lead at halftime, but turned things up in the second half, shooting 61.3 percent, while holding Hawaii Pacific to just 23.5 percent. Wright scored 17 in the second half, going a perfect 7-for-7 shooting. The Mavs ended the game with a 17-3 run.
