Mavericks Host York Friday Night

The University of Nebraska-Omaha women's basketball team plays its only game of the week Friday night, hosting York College at 6 at Sapp Fieldhouse. The Mavericks stand at 7-1 riding a two-game win streak after suffering their first loss last weekend to Central Missouri.
The Panthers are 2-7, coming off a pair of losses at the Harding University Classic. York fell to the host team, Harding, then fell in overtime to Ouchita Baptist. Kaylena Anderson averaged 13 points in the two games, grabbing 13 rebounds in the Ouchita Baptist game.
The Mavericks have defeated the Panthers in both of their past meetings. Last season the Mavs allowed a season low 39 points in winning 80-39 on Dec. 9, 2006.
