Streaking Mavs Head to No. 16 South Dakota

After two big North Central Conference wins last week, the Nebraska-Omaha women's basketball team looks for its third straight, going up against No. 16 South Dakota in Vermillion.
The Coyotes defeated the University of Sioux Falls, 87-60, in a nonconference game Tuesday to improve to 15-5 on the season. Their record in NCC play is 2-3, with both wins coming on the road.
Bridget Yoerger leads USD with 13.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Ashley Robinette has stepped up her game in conference play, averaging 13.0 points and 5.6 boards.
South Dakota defeated the Mavericks, 70-55, at Sapp Fieldhouse on Jan. 18. Yoerger recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. The Mavericks hold a 32-28 lead in the all-time series, having won the five meetings prior to the last game.
